Chile 1907 2-1/2 centavos

This type was struck in Chile 1904 and 1906-08. We don't know why this coin was deemed to be necessary when a copper two centavos of very similar design was issued 1878-94.

Recorded mintage: 262,000.

Specification: 7 g, copper, 25 mm diameter.
