This specimen was lot 45440 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH HONDURAS. Cent, 1913. London Mint. George V. NGC AU-55." This type was struck 1911-13 and is rather scarce, especially in nice condition. The country, long claimed by Guatemala, is now known as Belize. The issues of British Honduras are marked by their dull design; the reverse on this coin was used during the reigns of queen Victoria, kings Edward VII, George V, George VI and later queen Elizabeth II.

Recorded mintage: 25,000.

Specification: bronze, plain edge.

Catalog reference: KM-15; Prid-57.
