This specimen was lot 26476 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $528.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "People's Republic of China. 10 Yuan Year of the Rat 1984, Gem Cameo Proof in the original case with COA. Light golden toning." The previous year's issue (KM 73) honored the Year of the Pig.

Recorded mintage: 11,000.

Specification: 15 g, .850 fine silver, .410 troy oz ASW.
