Shown is a copper-nickel twenty réis of the United States of Brazil. This is the regular issue, struck 1918-21, 1927 and 1935. Unlike the larger hundred and four hundred réis, this denomination was not used for the series of commemoratives issued during the thirties.

Recorded mintage: 625,000.

Specification: copper-nickel, 15 mm diameter.
