Peru 1834 1/4 real
Revision as of 17:54, 28 February 2024 by LatinKing2020 (talk | contribs) (Text replacement - " .903 fine" to " 0.903 fine")
This type was struck at Lima 1826-56. The date is listed in the SCWC as common, tho all Peruvian minors are scarcer in nice condition than the catalog values would indicate; among the quarter reales, only the 1855 is frequently seen. Many overdates are listed, including an 1834/3.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: .84 g, 0.903 fine silver, .024 troy oz ASW.
Catalog reference: KM-143.1.
