Stack's Bowers 2024 NYINC sale, lot 58476

This specimen was lot 58476 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $120. The catalog description^[1] noted, "STRAITS SETTLEMENTS. 5 Cents, 1895. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-62. KM-10." This type was struck in 1871-1901 at London and Heaton and many dates are common, including this one.

Recorded mintage: 1,480,000.
