This tenth écu au buste habillé, the equivalent of a dime, was struck at the Paris mint in 1779 during the reign of Louis XVI of France. Droulers[1] lists this date as common.

Recorded mintage: 111,350.

Specification: 2.95 g, 0.917 fine silver, .087 troy oz ASW, reeded edge, 21-22 mm diameter.
