The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Alexander III. 1881-1894, 50 Kopecks 1892, St. Petersburg Mint, (AG). NGC UNC Details. Slightly cleaned." This type is listed for 1886-94, superseding the old poltina or half ruble. All dates are scarce. Alexander III ruled 1881-94.
