This type, struck 1903-06 for queen Wilhelmina, is little changed from the initial 2½ cents introduced in 1877 during the reign of William III. In 1912, the reverse was redesigned to feature a wreath of orange blossoms. This date is common.

Recorded mintage: 4,000,000.

Specification: 4 g, bronze, 23.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
