This specimen was lot 71393 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Glamorganshire. Swansea. Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1796. PCGS MS-64 Red Brown. Obverse: View of Swansea Castle; Reverse: Key; Edge: "PAYABLE ON DEMAND". Demonstrating robust red color, this token provides phenomenal strike quality, and an interesting design. A very beautiful example of a trade token."
