This type was struck 1938 for king Ghazi in conjunction with a bronze (KM 103b) and pure nickel variety (KM 103). The bronze is the most common. The monarchy lasted 1921-58.

Recorded mintage: 1,100,000.

Specification: 6.75 g, copper-nickel, 25 mm diameter, designed by Percy Metcalfe.
