This specimen was lot 4452 in Goldberg sale 69 (Los Angeles, May, 2012), where it sold for $575. The catalog description [2] noted, "Sweden. 20 Kronor, 1899-EB. Oscar II. NGC graded MS-66." This type was struck in limited numbers 1877-99 but the release of the hoard of the Bank of Sweden in the late nineties made this type common in all grades.

Recorded mintage: 135,000.

Specification: 8.96 g, .900 fine gold, .259 troy oz AGW.
