This specimen was lot 70682 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "FINLAND. Penni, 1888. Helsinki Mint. Alexander III of Russia. NGC MS-64 Brown. Offering a delightful mix of red-brown, this vibrant near-Gem certainly dazzles the eye." This type was struck by the Tsarist administration 1881-94.
