This rare coin from Egypt is a one year type. The SCWC lists this as an altin. Osman II ascended the throne at the age of 14 after his uncle was overthrown. Mentally unbalanced, he was the mere tool of various palace factions and was in turn deposed in 1623. He survived in captivity until 1639.
