This specimen was lot 598 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $238. The catalog description[1] noted, "OTTOMAN EMPIRE: Osman II, 1618-1622, AV sultani, Misr, AH1027, about 10% flat strike, full mint & date, bold VF." This rare coin from Egypt is a one year type. The SCWC lists this as an altin. Osman II ascended the throne at the age of 14 after his uncle was overthrown. After losing a campaign against the Poles, he himself was ousted and strangled by the Janissaries in 1622 at the age of 17.
