This specimen was lot 1089 in Jean Elsen sale 147 (Brussels, June 2021), where it sold for €7,500 (about US$10,961 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"LIEGE, Principauté, Ferdinand de Bavière (1612-1650), AV florin d'or au type rhénan, s.d. (1614), Hasselt. D/ Le prince-évêque trônant de f., au-dessus d'un écusson de Bouillon. R/ Ecu écartelé de Bavière-Palatinat dans un trilobe anglé, cantonné de F-D-B. Très rare Fêlure du flan. Très Beau à Superbe. (prince-bishopric of Liege, Ferdinand of Bavaria, 1612-50, undated gold florin of the Rhenish type, Hasselt mint. Obverse: the prince-bishop enthroned, facing, with the arms of Bouillon below; reverse: quartered arms of Bavaria-Palatinate in an angled trilobe, cantonned with "F-D-B". Very rare, flan crack, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"
