Kwangsi (Guangxi) Province is situated on the southern border, west of Hong Kong and bordering Vietnam. It constitutes the Guangxi Ahuang Autonomous Region, which holds special privileges for the indigenous Zhuang people. Mints operated at various times, with modern mints established in 1905 in two cities (Nanning and Kweilin).

The specimen shown was lot 60413 in Ponterio sale 162 (Hong Kong, August 2011), where it sold for $5,378. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Kwangsi. 20 Cents, Year 10 (1921). 民國十年廣西省造貳毫銀幣銅樣。 Pattern struck in copper. Tied for finest certified by NGC. 紅銅製。NGC鑑定評分最高的一枚。NGC MS-65 RB. Ex: The Frank Robinson Collection."
