This type was struck 1953-64 and features the first bust of queen Elizabeth. This date is common. This specimen, removed from a prooflike set, has such dark toning that the detail is hard to see.

Specification: 2.32 g, .800 fine silver, .060 troy oz ASW, 18.03 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by Mary Gillick and Emanuel Hahn.
