This specimen is lot 1360 in UBS sale 84 (Basel, January 2010). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PORTUGAL (Münzstätte Lissabon) José I. 1750-1777. Peça 1763. Belorbeertes Brustbild nach rechts, darunter die Jahreszahl. Rv. Wappen auf gekrönter Wappenkartusche. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich." (Portugal, Lisbon mint, Joseph I, 1750-77, gold "joe" of 1763. Obv: draped bust to right, date below. Rev: Baroque arms. Extremely fine to good extremely fine).
This type was struck 1750-76 but is seldom seen compared to similar coins that were struck in Brazil.
