Stack's Bowers October 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 74486

This specimen was lot 74486 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $264. The catalog description^[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Silver 8 Dollars (5 Ounces), 2016-P. Perth Mint. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Wedge-tailed eagle issue. An attractive high relief type with a somewhat dished appearance and boldly frosted designs. Sold with the original box and certificate of authenticity." Another one of the innumerable NCLT's pouring out of the Perth mint. This one was features the Year of the Goat.
