This specimen was lot 2949 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 1,000 CHF (about US$1,206 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Bhumiphol (Rama IX), 1946-2015. 7500 Baht 2002. Auf den 75. Geburtstag des Königs. Nur 6000 Exemplare geprägt. FDC. (Thailand, Bhumiphol (Rama IX), 1946-2015, 7500 baht of 2002, on the king's 75th birthday. Only 6000 pieces struck, Uncirculated.)"
This is the only issue of this denomination mentioned in the SCWC.
Recorded mintage: 6,000 plus 1,200 proofs.
Specification: 15 g, 0.900 fine gold, 26 mm diameter; this specimen 14.94 g.
