Thailand BE2541 200 baht KM-Y360

from Stack's Bowers May 2023 Collector's Choice sale, lot 73387

This specimen was lot 73387 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description^[1] noted, "THAILAND. 200 Baht, BE 2541 (1998). Rama IX. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. World Wildlife Fund issue: Tigers. Completely untoned and exceedingly argent, this nearly perfect specimen offers an intense cameo nature." This NCL was accompanied by two others of this denomination (KM Y372, Y399) which featured elephants.

Recorded mintage: 3,250.
