This specimen was lot 970 in UBS sale 85 (Zürich, September 2010), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN, Genova, Doge Biennali, 1528-1797. 2 Doppie 1619. Stilisiertes Kastell, darunter die Jahreszahl. Rv. Blumenkreuz. Kl. Kr. Fast vorzüglich." (Italy, Genoa, biennial doges, 1528-1797. Two doppie of 1619. Stylized castle, date below. Reverse: floriated cross. Light scratches, nice Extremely Fine.)
This type was struck 1592-1637 but despite the extensive years of issue, this denomination is very rare today. Two doppie equaled four ducats.
