This specimen was lot 33900 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Republic gold Proof 2000 Shilingi 1986 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC. A Conservation issue featuring the banded green sunbird." This NCLT was issued by Tanzania to honor the 25th anniversary of the World Wildlife Fund by featuring the native sunbird.

Recorded mintage: 5,000.

Specification: 15.98 g, 0.917 fine gold, AGW 0.4711 oz (same standard as a British two pounds).
