This specimen was lot 40648 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRAZIL. 400 Reis, 1734-R. Rio de Janeiro Mint. Joao V. PCGS AU-53." This type was struck in Minas Gerais 1730-34 and in Rio in 1734.
