This specimen was lot 43414 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $3,360. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE. Empire. Quart de Franc (1/4 Franc), 1807-M. Toulouse Mint. Napoleon I. PCGS AU-50. Dominated by some amber-olive hues along with some hints of iridescence, this lightly circulated specimen stands as the finer of just two observed in the PCGS census. From the Richard Margolis Collection (acquired from Bank Leu in Zürich on 8 September 1971 for $100)." This is a scarce date of a type struck 1806-07 at six mints.

Recorded mintage: 1,620.

Specifications: 1.25 g, 0.900 fine silver, 15 mm diameter, designed by Pierre Joseph Tiolier (1763-1819).
