This specimen was lot 3712 in Sincona sale 9 (Zürich, October 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Bayern, Königreich Maximilian II. 1848-1864. Doppelgulden 1855. Gutes vorzüglich. (Kingdom of Bavaria, Maximilian II, 1848-64, double gulden of 1855, good extremely fine.)"
This type is the regular issue of 1848-56 and is reasonably common.
