This specimen was part of lot 6398 in CNG Triton XXVIII (New York, January 2025), which sold for $735. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY, Papal (Vatican City). Pius XII. 1939-1958. Mint Set. Dated 1940 and RY 2. Includes: AV 100 Lire // AR 10 Lire // AR 5 Lire // NI 2 Lire // NI Lire // NI 50 Centesimi // NI 20 Centesimi // CU 10 Centesimi // CU 5 Centesimi. Cf. This type was struck 1940-41 in the beginning years of World War Two.
