This specimen was lot 40721 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Upper Canada. Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1833. PCGS MS-62 Brown." This token was issued decades before regular coinage was issued for Canada. Upper Canada is today Ontario.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
