This specimen was lot 5436 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$226 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ. Schaffhausen. Halbdicken 1620, Schaffhausen. Selten. Möglicherweise Henkelspur. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, Schaffhausen, half dicken of 1620, Schaffhausen mint. Rare, Possibly ex mount, Very Fine.)"
This type is noted for 1616 and 1619-21. The city arms depict an ibex leaping, sometimes by itself or out of a castle window (as here). One dicken was 24 kreuzer.
Recorded mintage: unknown but rather scarce.
Specification: silver, this specimen 4.37 g.
