This specimen was lot 76362 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Vaud. 1/2 Batzen, 1819. NGC AU Details--Cleaned." This half batzen (or five rappen) was issued from the Swiss canton of Vaud 1804-19. Vaudois issues ended in 1831 except for a rare franc emitted 1845. Cantonal issues were terminated by the confederation of 1848.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.9 g, billon, 23 mm diameter, plain edge.
