This specimen was lot 947 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Kingdom of the Netherlands. Wilhelm III. 1849-1890. 10 Gulden 1876, Utrecht. Münzzeichen Beil. 6.73 g. FDC. (kingdom of the Netherlands, William III, 1849-90, ten gulden of 1876, Utrecht mint. Uncirculated.)" This is a common date of a common type struck in the Netherlands 1876-89 during the reign of William III. Ten gulden gold pieces were struck to this standard 1819-1933. They weigh about 4% more than French twenty francs. In 1876, the reverse was modified to move the date from the top to the bottom.
