This specimen was lot 3336 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 275 CHF (about US$369 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Luzern, Dicken 1613, Luzern. Selten. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Luzern, dicken of 1613, Luzern mint. Rare, Very fine.)"
This type was struck 1612-16. The dicken was 24 kreuzer or 4/15 thaler but we find it was generally worth a quarter thaler.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver, this specimen 8.87 g.
