This specimen was lot 1129 in Sincona sale 85 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 312 CHF (about US$420 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Muzaffar al-Din Shah, 1313-1324 AH (1896-1907). 250 Dinars 1319 AH (1901/1902 AD), Tehran Mint. Lion & Sun type. Rare. NGC MS61. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 143. Finest certified by NGC."
The SCWC lists this quarter kran or 250 dinars with a lion obverse for AH 1314-1319. This sale also contained a 250 dinars with a bust obverse.
