This specimen was lot 3092 in Sincona sale 77 (Zurich, May 2022), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$243 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Sweden|SWEDEN]]. Oscar I. 1844-1859. 2/3 Skilling 1850, Stockholm. NGC MS64 RB." Prior to the reform of 1830, 48 skilling = one riksdaler; after 1830, 128 skilling = one riksdaler specie. As a result the skilling was reduced from 28.3 g to 11.3 g. This is a common date of a type struck 1845-55. The denomination was terminated in 1855.
