This specimen was lot 1085 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $48. The catalog description[1] noted, "MONTENEGRO: AR perper, 1914, two-year type, XF-AU." This type was struck in Vienna 1912 and 1914 and was the last silver issue from this country, which was absorbed into Yugoslavia in 1918. It uses the module of the French franc.
Recorded mintage: 500,000.
Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, 23 mm diameter, reeded edge.
