Steve Album sale 51, lot 3230

This specimen was lot 3230 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "MONTENEGRO: Nicholas I, 1860-1910, AR 2 perpera, 1914, PCGS graded AU58." This type was struck 1914 only to the module of a French two francs. Montenegro was absorbed into Yugoslavia in 1918.

Recorded mintage: 200,008 at Vienna.

Specifications: 10 g, 0.835 fine silver, 27 mm diameter, edge lettered ***БОГ*ЧУВА*ЦРНУ*ГОРУ.
