This specimen was lot 289 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €1,800 (about US$2,313 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia - 100 Dollars 2013, Gold, ELIZABETH II 1952-2022 20th Anniversary. Kangaroo. Rev. head to right. NGC PF69 Ultra Cameo." In 2013, this denomination was used to issue KM 1731 (platypus), KM 1837 (year of the snake), 1956 (kangaroo road sign), 1973 (year of the snake), 1983 (koala), 1992 (kangaroo), 2003 (year of the snake), 2024 (kangaroo, shown here), 2048 (koala), 2079 (treasures of Europe), 2084 (kangaroo), 2094 (year of the snake, in color), 2135 (birth of prince George) and 2157 (year of the snake). Most are one ounce gold coins. Lacking photos in the SCWC, identification is tentative.

Recorded mintage: 500.

Specification: 31.103 g, 0.999 fine gold, 1.00 troy oz AGW.
