This specimen was lot 4063 in Sincona sale 95 (Zurich, October 2024), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$485 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Basel, Stadt und Kanton, Halbtaler 1741, Basel. Stadtansicht, darüber Stadtname und oben die acht Vogteiwappen. Unten im Abschnitt Jahreszahl und Füllhorn. Mzz. I - HM (ligiert) für Johann Jakob Handmann I. Rv. Nach rechts zurückblickender Basilisk hält ein verziertes Wappen. Gerippter Rand. Fast FDC. Henkelspur und leicht justiert. (Switzerland, canton of Basel, half thaler of 1741, Basel mint. Obverse: city view, above the town name and the eight bailiwick arms, in the exergue, the date and a cornucopia. Mintmark I - HM (ligated) for Johann Jakob Handmann I. reverse: Basilisk facing right holding a decorated coat of arms. Reeded edge. About Mint State, Mount mark and minor adjustment marks.)"
