This specimen was lot 67 in Sincona sale 92 (Zurich, October 2024), where it sold for 2,800 CHF (about US$3,881 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN Qajar Dynasty, Agha Mohammad Shah, 1193-1211 AH (1779-1797). 1/2 Toman 1204 AH (1789/1790), Isfahan Mint. Selten, Prachtvolle Erhaltung, Rare. NGC MS64, Magnificent condition. Purchased from A. Shams, Frankfurt, in 1984. Finest certified by NGC."
Two other mints struck this type, probably Rasht and Mazandaran.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
