This specimen was lot 1307 in Ponterio sale 158 (New York, January 2011), where it sold for $1,495. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Riksdaler, 1642 AG. Christina (1632-54). Very attractive old toning. EXTREMELY FINE." This type was struck 1641-53 with numerous varieties; some have Roman numeral dates (as here) and later issues have Arabic numeral dates. This is a rare date for the type.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 28.77 g, 0.878 fine silver, .812 troy oz AGW.
