This specimen was lot 1401 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $176.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "U.S.S.R.: AE ½ kopeck, 1928, NGC graded MS63 BR." This denomination was struck by the Communists 1925-28 only and is rather scarce.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a very scarce date.
Specification: copper.
