Sincona sale 86, lot 1837

This specimen was lot 1837 in Sincona sale 86 (Zurich, October 2023), where it sold for 1,900 CHF (about US$2,559 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Elizabeth II. 1952-2022. Proof 100 Pounds 2017, Royal Mint Llantrisant. Gold. the Queen's Beasts: The Lion of England. Very rare. Only 591 pieces struck. NGC PF66 ULTRA CAMEO."

Recorded mintage: 591.

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine gold, this specimen 31.12 g.
