Sincona sale 86, lot 1832

This specimen was lot 1832 in Sincona sale 86 (Zurich, October 2023), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$505 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Elizabeth II. 1952-2022. Proof Half Sovereign 2016, Royal Mint Llantrisant. Celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday. Obverse portrait by James Butler. Only 1,995 pieces struck (+ 1,666 coins included in sets). NGC PF68 ULTRA CAMEO. With original box and certificate. No. 436 of 2,000 limited edition presentation sets."

Recorded mintage: 1,995 plus 1,666 coins included in sets.

Specification: 3.99 g, 0.917 fine gold, 19.3 mm diameter. This specimen 3.99 g.
