This specimen was lot 55432 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Wolfenbuttel. 1/2 Taler, 1600. Zellerfeld Mint. Heinrich Julius. PCGS EF-40. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1600-04 and is fairly common for a half thaler. Heinrich Depsern (Andreasberg) and Heinrich Oeckeler (Goslar mint) both stamped this coin in 1600.
