This specimen was lot 850 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $258.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN: Ahmad Shah, 1909-1925, AV toman, AH1340, PCGS graded MS62." This type was struck AH1332-1343 (1913-24).
Recorded mintage: unknown but fairly common.
Specification: 2.87 g, 0.900 fine gold, 19 mm diameter.
