This specimen was part of lot 70687 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), which sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Great Britain|GREAT BRITAIN]]. Maundy Set, 1780. George III (1760-1820). 4 pieces in set. Penny, 2 Pence, 3 Pence, and 4 Pence. All pieces of set exhibit areas of dark peacock toning in the peripheries. A nice evenly matched set, all with good strikes." This type was struck 1763-66, 1772, 1776, 1780-86 and, tho not rare, is difficult to find in nice condition. It is probably the last of the denomination to actually circulate.
