This specimen was lot 1282 in Jean Elsen sale 147 (Brussels, June 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Léopold Ier (1831-1865), Cu 1 centime, 1861. Fleur de Coin. (kingdom of Belgium, Leopold I, 1831-65, copper one centime of 1861. Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1835-38, 1841, 1844-50, 1855-63. For some dates, a variety exists (KM 1.3) with no dash below "CENTS".
Recorded mintage: 1,696,000.
Specification: 1.8 g, copper.
