This specimen was lot 341 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 26 (Winter Park, FL, November 2019), where it sold for $654.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico City, Mexico, cob 4 reales, 1711J, rare, ex-1715 Fleet. Full oMJ and 11 of date, nice full cross-lions-castles and nearly full shield, all well detailed despite light surface corrosion. From the 1715 Fleet. Auction lot-tag personally signed by John Pullin. The John Pullin Collection of Dated Mexican Cobs." The silver cobs were debased from .931 fine to .917 fine in 1728. They are not rare but very scarce with legible dates.
