This type was struck in 1931 to commemorate composer Wolfgang Mozart. This specimen was part of lot 32582 in Heritage sale 3035 (Long Beach, September 2014), which sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic Two Schilling Set 1928-1937, All coins UNC. Each portrays a famous individual or place in local history. One commemorative was produced each year." In 1925, the currency was reformed with 100 kronen (old) = one groschen (new) and 100 groschen = one schilling.

Recorded mintage: 500,000 plus a few proofs.

Specification: 12 g, .640 fine silver, .245 troy oz ASW.
